AS Level: Accelerated Sociology

Sociology leads to a wide range of careers such as: Teaching, Government Advisors, Social Worker, Police Officer, Journalism, Lawyer, Human Resource Management, Acting and many more. The skills learnt in a A Level Sociology are valued highly by universities and employers. AS: Introduction to Theory and Methods, followed by the Family and Education topics. Students are taught in a variety of ways from traditional lectures to encouraging independentwork. All students are given a list of deadlines at the start of each term which students need to meet during the term. Key themes such as class, gender, ethnicity and age are explored.
