The BTEC Syllabus is designed to give students a practical and theoretical understanding of theatre production. A range of technical and design skills are delivered, these can include lighting and mask making, as well as costume and set designs and considerations for performance. BTEC courses also offer the opportunity to develop the key skills that future employers and colleges or universities may desire, such as collaborative and independent learning, confidence, presentation skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
