This course will give learners the opportunity to gain knowledge of, and develop skills in, the information technology sector and some aspects of the creative industries. Some of the units we will cover are; the online world, Technology systems, Digital portfolio, computing in the workplace, Multimedia products development and Computational thinking. Learners will work with a Job Coach to secure external work placements in an area which suits their future aspirations and will be encouraged to reach a level of independence appropriate to them and a range of activities are available to support their development. Learners will take part in an Exploring Futures programme which looks at the skills and experiences needed to reach their potential.
