This is an exciting, challenging and fun subject. It involves a great deal of practical work and students will have opportunities to: • Sequence MIDI • Sequence audio • Record live performances • Produce CDs • Compose using music technology Studying Music Technology will enable you to learn the skills required to make high quality recordings of musical performances. You will be involved in performing on your instrument or singing, during the course. You will learn how to compose and arrange, through Music Technology. Using computers will be an integral part of producing and presenting your work. You will also develop your knowledge of the principles and the developments of Music Technology over the past hundred years.
