Study Programme - Diploma in Automotive Refinishing Level 1

This programme is ideal for learners who enjoy a practical environment, are interested in vehicle refinishing (paint repair) and wish to develop and broaden their experience. All learners will develop their knowledge and skills in health and safety practices in vehicle maintenance, good housekeeping in the automotive environment and vehicle refinishing tools and equipment. Alongside the vocational qualification, the programme also includes a qualification to support your employability (the City & Guilds Level 1 Award or Certificate in Employability Skills) and GCSE or Functional Skills English and maths qualifications if learners have yet to achieve a grade C at GCSE. Learners will also access a minimum of one week of work experience and activities to help them get closer to reaching their career goals.
