You will learn to think critically about aspects of Physics that impinge on everyday life and develop practical skills applicable beyond the course along with skills in independent learning. Students are provided with opportunities to: Understand essential facts, concepts and principles in Physics. Promote the importance of Physics in everyday life through experimental work and case studies. Realise that Physics plays an important role in our society. Have a sound base for students who simply wish to study Physics to A-Level, but at the same time provide an excellent foundation for Science degrees at University.
