Philosophy and Ethics

UPDATED 20161028 09:22:47

Philosophy is a subject which gives students an opportunity to gain grounding in key philosophical concepts, themes, texts and techniques. Students also develop a range of transferable skills which can be applied far beyond the subject. Philosophy and Ethics at Erasmus Darwin Academy has increased in popularity by 100% since it was brought in, in September 2012. Philosophy and Ethics gives students the opportunity to develop their own thoughts and beliefs on topics such as abortion, euthanasia and the afterlife and is directly linked with the GCSE course studied at the Academy.
