Unit 1 (Breadth Study) Tsarist and Communist Russia, 1855-1964 Part 1 of this unit is taught in Year 12. It deals with reform and revolution in Russia from 1855 to 1917, covering the reigns of Alexander II, III and Nicholas II as they try to preserve autocracy prior to the revolution of 1917. Unit 2 (Depth Study) The Wars of the Roses, 1450-1499 This unit deals with the fall of the origins of the conflict, the fall of the House of Lancaster and the triumph of the House of York under Edward IV until 1471.
