Geography is a dynamic discipline that illuminates our understanding of the world through physical and human processes. Since moving specification for A-level Geography the department at EDA has achieved a brilliant pass rate, with 36% achieving grades A-B, under the new AQA specification. This success is due to the real world relevance of the subject, which provides the opportunity to develop skills out in the field on a trip to the Blencathra Field Studies Centre in the Lake District. Our department has been recognised for its endeavours with the Geographical Associations Secondary Quality Mark in Geography awarded in 2013.
