Students will have the opportunity of working in a variety textiles media that will include fashion design, interior design and creative textiles. In the first year you will produce a portfolio of coursework based on a given theme. For the externally set assignment students will create ideas in response to one of the five exciting starting points given. In the second year students will be able to continue with their chosen area of study and create more in-depth coursework and will be given another externally set assignment to create ideas in response to one of eight exciting starting points given. The Textiles A Level is made up of 4 units over two years.
