The course is an introduction to the principles of various art and design disciplines. There will be a focus on developing core skills that will enable students to improve the quality of their artwork. The course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to progress onto a level 3 course. Students who come onto the level 2 course will have an interest in Art in general and this will be encouraged and developed in specialist areas to give students an insight into what they might choose to work towards. If you have not already achieved a GCSE pass at grade C or above in English and Maths you will study Maths and/ or English as an integral part of your college programme.
