Do you love football and want to find out how far you could go? Chasing your dream is the ultimate goal and for a small number it can lead to professional status and superstar incomes. But what about the others? This course is designed to push your football skills in a professional environment, building teamwork and nurturing talent. Your study sports coaching, create your own fitness programmes and learn how to test athletes. There’s also an emphasis on the study side with modules in Anatomy, Physiology, Nutrition and Sports Development. Our current students (more than 35% of which are female) are already focused on a wide range of progression routes. Some are focused on the leisure sector, extending their training to include lifeguarding and looking at becoming Gym Instructors. Others in the group are looking at university Sports courses . Two students are showing real skill and have been selected for regional squads. Who knows where there future could lead but they’ll always have their qualifications and their teammates to fall back on if they need. This course is run in conjunction with Bedworth United and Coventry United Ladies Football Club. and will be delivered from the Bedworth United Stadium (The Oval).
