If you need to retake GCSE English Language to obtain at least grade C, this part-time daytime or evening course will help you to do this. It is also suitable for mature students who need GCSE English Language for career purposes or for higher education. Course available on the following days & times: •Monday evening 5.45pm-8.45pm •Wednesday evening 5.45pm-8.45pm •Tuesday day-time 1.15pm-4.30pm Topics you will study include: •A personal written response to a film. •A written analysis of a short story. •A written study of how language is used in certain contexts. •A piece of descriptive writing. •A variety of oral exercises, including a presentation. •Extensive preparation for the GCSE exam Whatever you end up doing, English is a must have subject for college, university, work and life. There are two ways of studying this course, you can either study this course on day release or you can study this course in the evening.
