Unit 1 Planning and Financing a Business In this unit students will examine the fundamental issues in business. Starting with enterprise and entrepreneurs, students will build their understanding of the financial issues involved with starting a business and investigate the differing forms of ownership that exist as well as the complexities involved with choosing a suitable location. Unit 2 Managing a Business This unit examines Finance, People, Operations and Marketing in relation to improving the competitiveness of organisations.
