A-level Maths

Students will develop there understanding of mathematics, building on the foundations acquired through the AS course. Pure mathematics (C3 and C4), requiring logical thinking and analysis, forms the basis of the course, but students are also expected to learn how to apply their mathematics in a statistics module (S1). Topics include, algebra, sequences, trigonometry, differentiation, vectors, probability, correlation and regression. A2 mathematics leads to a wide range of university course and employment opportunities.
