The emphasis of this course is based very much on you acquiring the essential skills demanded by industry and the professions. The qualification also offers a progression path through to higher education. Progress is made by successful completion of units of study, some of which are assessed externally though examinations and some through assignment work. The A2 Double Award involves 3 compulsory units of study. Unit 8: Business Development; Unit 12: International dimensions of Business and Unit 13: Organising an Event and 3 additional units of study. Unit 9: Motivating and Developing People; Unit 10: Marketing Decisions ( external exam); Unit 14: External Influences on Business.
