What is Biology? Biology is the study of living organisms, which includes their structure, functioning, origin and evolution, classification, interrelationships and distribution. Studying A level Biology at Erasmus Darwin Academy will give you the knowledge, skills and opportunities to learn deeply about a range of different organisms and processes. You will be able to answer questions like, "Why can't we see in colour in dim light conditions?", "What are the limits on the height of a tree?" and "What affect does alcohol abuse have on your liver?". Learning experiences in Biology lessons are varied and interesting, including opportunities to explore biological processes, practical work and applying ideas to solve real life problems.
