In Mathematics, you will learn to think logically, to ask questions and to do thorough and rigorous investigations to answer them. As well as teaching you problem-solving and data-handling skills, mathematics is the language of most of the lab sciences and many of the quantitative parts of social sciences. It enables you to communicate complicated concepts elegantly. Students of our Edexcel A level in Maths will develop an understanding of mathematics and mathematical processes, develop the ability to reason logically and construct mathematical proofs, and understand coherence and progression in mathematics and how different areas of mathematics can be connected.
