Health and Social Care will develop your understanding of a wide range of issues. You will develop practical communication skills as well as gaining a broad academic understanding of the sometimes controversial issues within health and social care. The subjects which you will study include ‘Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health and Social Care; Development through the Life Stages and Caring for Children and Young People.’ As part of the course you will participate in a regular work placement so that you can apply what you learn in a setting of your choice.
