Students will explore a range of Biology topics in detail, with a strong focus on developing scientific enquiry through practical skills. A level Biology is a two year linear course. The topics covered within Biology are : Biological molecules, Cells, Organisms and how they exchange substances within their environment, Genetic information and variation, and how this affects relationships between organisms, Energy transfers between and within organisms, changes in internal and external environments, population and evolutionary genetics and gene expression.
