You will prepare for two examined components. The first component focuses on the AQA anthology of non-fiction spoken and written texts. You will compare two extracts from the anthology in the examination. The second component focuses on fiction and poetry texts. In the examination you will respond to an extract from your prose text exploring how the story is told. Then you will compare two poems from the collection, focusing on literary and linguistic techniques.
