Art and Design is an exciting and broad subject which gives you the opportunity to explore and experiment with a variety of media and materials. The course will give you an excellent grounding to the subject, gaining a wide range of skills. Over the course of two years you will study the following: • Develop your key drawing and painting skills • Experiment with a range of media and processes • Generate ideas and research from primary and contextual sources • Record your findings in an interesting and creative manner • Develop and refine your ideas towards producing final outcomes • Develop your use of critical language
