Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) (VRQ)

This Diploma enables learners to gain the knowledge and experience which will allow them to work with children from birth to 5 years. Upon achievement of the Level 3 Diploma, it is intended that learners will be able to access Higher Education or enter the workplace as Early Years Educators. Students may progress into a variety of professional careers including practitioners in children's centres, nurseries or reception classes, and registered childminder/nanny jobs. Alternatively, they could continue their studies at Higher Education level.
