This course provides an opportunity for those with an interest in Production Arts to explore, develop and test their creativity and skill within a qualification which is stimulating and demanding and provides a supportive transition to higher level study. You will enjoy many opportunities to run live performances and build the confidence and skill you need to go on to the next stage of your technical theatre career. During the course you will work in our state of the art theatre and workshop spaces on shows produced both in - house and by visiting companies. Progression This qualification is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree level study or employment in Technical Theatre. The course provides excellent opportunities to progress to universities or drama schools on courses from sound engineering, lighting design, stage management, event management, costume design, prop making and many other technical theatre courses.
