Mechanical Engineering, Extended Diploma Level 3

This course will develop your knowledge of the core engineering subjects as well as giving you the chance to specialise in mechanical engineering. You will learn how engineering businesses operate and the factors that affect them and the wider industry. You will also have the chance to develop and apply the use of Computer - Aided Design (CAD) in a range of engineering projects. The course is also suitable for someone who wants to study engineering at University, or for someone who wants to become a higher technician in this sector. After successfully completing this programme, you could move up to a degree, foundation degree or HNC/HND programme, or you could move on to an Advanced Apprenticeship with an employer, or to employment with another type of training.
