Law: Applied Law BTEC L3 Subsidiary Diploma

This course gives you an introduction to the practical side of the law. If you are interested in how law is passed and then implemented in the UK and you are self-motivated and able to meet coursework deadlines then this programme could meet your needs. The qualification is suited to students who want to experience vocational education involving production of coursework based assignments throughout the year. Students will also be offered the opportunity to visit local law courts during their study, and will hopefully benefit from visiting speakers from a range of legal professions. The course will focus on: how criminal and civil courts are structured; how law is made and specialist units covering homicide, police powers, aspects of legal liability and property offences.
