Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery Level 1

This course will provide you with a basic introduction to carpentry and joinery. You will develop your practical skills and prepare for entry to the industry as a trainee Carpenter/Joiner. You will have the opportunity to practice the skills you learn, building your confidence with the tools and materials commonly used in industry. Approximately 60% of the course is based in workshops and 40% is theory. There will also be an opportunity to develop skills in a different trade, e.g. tiling or plastering.
