Classics: Ancient History AS/A Level

The study of Ancient History will give you an opportunity to develop an interest in, and enthusiasm for, the classical world. You will acquire knowledge and understanding of classical civilisation and develop awareness of how it compares with later times. At its core will be the development of analytical and evaluative skills which will allow for informed opinion on the subject. There will be an opportunity to visit Greece or Rome to provide you with a personal experience of key locations.
