Whether you’re re-plastering a kitchen in a house or rendering a commercial building, our Level 2 Diploma in Plastering will give you a good understanding of the skills required to tackle a number of construction projects. All of our construction programmes are delivered at the engineering and construction campus, a purpose-built unit that simulates an industrial working environment for practical learning. Topics of study include: ◾Health, safety and welfare in construction ◾Applying plastering materials to interiors ◾Fix dry lining and plasterboards to interiors ◾Produce reverse moulds for fibrous work ◾Laying sand and cement screeds We have fantastic relationships with local and national industry leaders who provide work experience opportunities and take part in guest speaker sessions for our students. We place a huge level of importance on securing beneficial work experience for students, which allows them to learn in a new environment and put the skills they have gained at college into practice.
