Music Technology, like other forms of technology, advances rapidly. The specification involves practical work and the cultivation of a wide range of skills. Students will have opportunities to sequence MIDI, sequence Audio, record live instruments, produce CDs and compose using music technology. A Level Music Technology has been widely accepted by higher education and will continue to provide valuable experience and preparation for students aiming for Higher Education in the subject. Music Technology careers could include work as a sound engineer, record producer and teacher.
