During the course you will: • Experiment with a range of materials, processes and technologies in order to develop a range of creative and innovative solutions. • Build your knowledge of CAD CAM and incorporate the use of it within your project. • Design and make products to solve problems. • Investigate materials and associated manufacturing processes. • Gain a greater appreciation of the relationship between design, materials, manufacture and marketing, including industrial applications. • Develop an appreciation of past and present textile designers. • Develop a portfolio of work that can be used for university interviews. • Enter project work into national competitions.
