This is a unique and dynamic two - year higher education distance learning programme designed for those employed, or looking for employment, in a technical or professional capacity within the construction industry. The programme is delivered via distance learning, allowing you the flexibility to fit your studies around your work and home life. You will be supported in your independent studies through regular tutorials online or in person with our highly experienced lecturer. You will gain a high level of understanding of the design, function, construction and statutory requirements for buildings of all classes, preparing you for employment opportunities in the construction industry. The course also provides an ideal progression route should you wish to top - up your qualification to the Level 5 HND in Construction and the Built Environment. Through our Virtual Learning Environment, you will be able to access video editing programmes and Microsoft 365 for free. You will need to allow a minimum of ten hours per week to complete this course.
