Pottery Club Class

UPDATED 20160425 11:02:00

This 30 week club class takes place in a well-equipped pottery studio with throwing wheels and the resources to hand build and sculpt in clay. There is a large choice of clays, colours and glazes. Fellow club members are experienced potters and enthusiastic amateurs and a great deal of peer learning takes place. Tutors are self-employed; you pay the Adult Education Service a nominal amount to cover aspects of marketing, recruitment, administration and health / safety and then a pre-determined amount directly to the tutor as you attend. Tutors are also existing or former tutors of the Adult Education Service so they are fully qualified to lead classes. Indulge your passion for clay in a well-equipped pottery studio with like-minded colleagues. From practical demonstration from your tutor, verbal feedback and learning from fellow class members. Where you find it appropriate and useful, you are encouraged to keep a note/sketchbook. Come with ideas of your own or join in with on going projects that are initiated by members of our group. You will receive verbal feedback from your tutor. This is a non accredited course You may want to broaden your skills.
