This course will help you create original and interesting effects for your photographs or design work and teach you how to use them for artwork, posters, flyers, cards, and invitations. You will learn to use layers and some of the basic tools and techniques used in Photoshop. You will also use printers, scanners and understand computer graphics jargon. The Venue, Old Hall Street Wolverhampton WV1 3AU. It will give you the opportunity to learn to use Photoshop creatively and provide you with under-pinning knowledge and a base from which to progress in Photoshop at beginner or intermediate level. This is a practical course. You will learn through tutor demonstration and presentation, independent practical activities, research to develop ideas and knowledge and by producing a portfolio of evidence. The tutor will give you guidance and support during each lesson. Your tutor will provide verbal and written feedback, discuss what you want to achieve and how long it will take to achieve your goal, and record it with you on your Individual Learning Plan (ILP). This course is non-accredited. This course will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills to progress to a higher level of study within this or other art and craft disciplines.
