Life Skills Flower Arranging (progression class)

This course is ideal if you have a disability or learning difficulty and you have attended a life skills class before. You will be shown how to work with fresh and silk flowers. Each week you will make a different design. You will be encouraged to work on your own although support will be given when and where needed. Our courses can affect people's lives at many different levels; not only through the acquisition and development of practical skills but also by generating satisfaction and enjoyment, widening and developing interests, developing social skills, and helping individuals find direction and purpose outside the classroom. Participation on our courses can increase self-confidence and empower students to make changes that have benefits to their health and wellbeing. To be able to experiment with different materials working on eye and hand coordination, sensory involving touch and smell. This is a practical course you will learn by watching demonstrations and or step by step guidance, and participating in activities. There is regular feedback and assistance in each session to help you complete a Individual Learning Plan. This is a non-accredited course.
