A2 Level • Philosophy of Religion (H573/01): Developments in the understanding of God’s nature; Philosophical language including twentieth century perspectives. • Religious Ethics (H573/02): Meta-ethics; Freewill and determinism; Conscience; Developments in ethical thought including the Euthyphro dilemma and Divine Command Theory. • Developments in religious thought (H573/03): The challenge of secularism; Responses to secularism; Pluralism in theology and society; Gender in theology and society.
