Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. With this in mind we offer students with a keen interest in foreign languages who want to extend their knowledge of Spain and the Hispanic world the opportunity to study A level Spanish. Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking skills are all assessed within the framework of four modules, covering the topic areas of Leisure and Lifestyles, the Individual and Society, Environmental, Social and Political issues. Students all study films and books in Spanish. Languages mix well with all subjects and are always well-regarded by universities as strong academic subjects.
