This course concentrates on the technical and practical aspects of computing and computers. Computing AS-A level is most appropriate for students with a genuine interest in computer science who are at least considering career opportunities in this field. You will be encouraged to think creatively, innovatively, logically and critically. You will also develop an understanding of the organisation of computer systems, including hardware, software, data, communications and people. Programming features within the course use Visual Basic.
