Physics is a subject of enormous breadth. It encompasses the whole of the physical world from fundamental particles to supermassive black holes, from the beginning of time to the ultimate fate of the Universe. As an A-level Physics student you will develop valuable, transferable skills such as data analysis, logical thought and complex problem solving which are highly valued by employers across a wide range of disciplines and which can open the door to a host of degree courses including science, engineering, computing, medicine and business. Physics is not set in stone, fixed for all time. It is constantly evolving and new theories, discoveries, and ways of thinking gradually take the place of previous knowledge and understanding.
