UPDATED 20161005 11:28:24

Citizenship A-Level will enable you to communicate different views, ideas and perspectives on a range of topical issues, including politics, the UK court system, EU membership and what it means to be British. It will help you to select, analyse and evaluate information and to construct reasoned and coherent arguments. The course also requires you to plan, make decisions, and be an advocate on citizenship issues. You will be encouraged to work with others, making decisions, proposing alternative solutions and forming conclusions. There is the opportunity to take part in the Island’s annual Mock Trial competition against other Sixth Forms.
