If you wish to pursue a career in design and its related areas, then this is the course for you. Many of the units you will study have a vocational context and you will be taken on research trips to galleries and exhibitions in order to enhance your knowledge of art and design. The Extended Diploma course is equivalent to three A Level qualifications and takes two years to complete. The topics covered aim to develop your skills in interior design, product design, furniture design and manufacturing, product prototyping, scale model making and 3D computer design.
