Do you have design on a creative future that will shape the places and resources we will use in our ever changing world? Then this course will challenge and inspire you as our units are created to have a vocational context including research trips to galleries and exhibitions, in order to enhance your knowledge of contemporary and traditional art and design. This is a two years Level 3 Diploma, and we offer two options. The Double Award course is equivalent to two A Level qualifications and the Extended Diploma course is equivalent to three A Level Qualifications. The topics covered on both courses aim to develop your skills in interior design, product design, furniture design and manufacturing, product prototyping, scale model making and 3D computer design.
