The Media Studies course is designed to encourage students to enhance their enjoyment and appreciation of the media and its role in their daily lives. At AS, students investigate the media in order to understand how meanings and responses are created. The modern media landscape and its changing contexts are studied in terms or products, platforms and technologies. At A2, students are encouraged to develop their understanding of the media and its influential role in today’s society, as well as debating major issues facing modern media.
