Drama & Theatre Studies

UPDATED 20150929 10:51:14

A strong sense of commitment to team work and individual development is required and a keen interest in the process of theatre and drama is essential. Drama & Theatre Studies is unusual in that it combines academic and practical skills. It is therefore vital that students enjoy both the practical challenge of brining a play text to life and the application of research and analytical skills required to complete written homework, coursework and examinations. Students should have a keen interest in theatre history and styles and social, moral and political issues which will be explored. They should also enjoy working as part of a team, as all practical work requires extensive group collaboration.
