Probably more than any other post-16 course, Media Studies offers a broad examination of contemporary society. The course is centred on contemporary media issues and texts and through in-depth analysis, we examine the ways in which society makes sense, and moulds views of the world. The practical element guides you through the research, planning and production of a creative media text. Media Studies complements most other subjects but goes particularly well with English, Sociology and The Creative Arts.
