Students follow AQA Spanish and are taught in a variety of ways incorporating listening, reading, writing and speaking. The course content looks at issues relevant to young people in society through the culture and language of the Spanish-speaking world. It builds upon GCSE language skills through the study of topics such as TV, film, music, advertising, ICT, fashion, sports and health, friendships and family relationships.
