Textiles

UPDATED 20161014 14:46:31

This is a new and exciting course aimed at students who enjoy working with fabrics. The AS course has two main components. Coursework involves producing a range of experimental techniques and a practical outcome using some of the techniques. There will be a trip to an Art Gallery and students keep a gallery book of their own visits and inspirations. The second component is an exam in February. In A2 there is a more detailed piece of work with a 1000 word illustrated essay. This course is ideal for students with a keen interest in fashion design, textile artists, fashion buyers, fashion business or interior design.
