The Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Physics course aims to give students opportunities to further develop their interest and practical skill in Physics in preparation for further study of physical sciences or engineering at university. Throughout the two year programme, Students will demonstrate and apply knowledge, understanding and skills for each topic to 12 core practicals. In addition, they will analyse, interpret and evaluate a range of scientific information, ideas and evidence using their knowledge, understanding and skills. There will be opportunities for students to develop mathematical skills throughout the content and they are required to apply these skills to relevant physical and engineering contexts.
