Mathematics is the application of a finite number of methods to an infinite number of problems. If you have a reasonable aptitude for Mathematics the subject can be rewarding, enjoyable and very useful. A special advantage is that it is about the only academic subject that does not involve a substantial amount of factual knowledge. A good understanding of the principles involved, together with practice in solving the recurrent type of problems, will make a successful Mathematician.
