A Level Psychology

UPDATED 20151001 11:26:30

Psychology is a popular subject which is attractive to students because it develops a range of valuable skills, including critical analysis, independent thinking and research. These skills are particularly relevant to young people and are transferable to further study and the workplace. There is no prior knowledge needed to do the subject as there is coverage of all relevant skills within the course. There is a variety of subject topics covered that aim to give students a broad view of Psychology and enhance their progression to the A2 course. These qualifications are linear. Linear means that students will sit all the AS exams at the end of their AS course and all the A-level exams at the end of their A-level course. The A2 course will span 2 years and an exam of 3 papers will be set for students that cover both AS and A2 content. These will be 2 hours in length.
